Coconut!
Each year we make our way through an impressive list of ingredients and other items that have to be bought in bulk. Flour, sugar, rolled oats, butter of course. But also cello bags and labels and ribbons for packing the biscuits. Gloves, aprons, the list is endless.
And spare a thought for those who have been very busy drilling holes through the gumnuts, the final decoration which is added to each packet of Anzac biscuits.
Due to the severe weather recently experienced in some of our mainland states, coconut proved a challenge this year but Rob has managed to source enough to see us through.
