Jennifer's first day today and starting right at the start of things.
Sam, Jordan and Wayne preparing some bags.
While Therese and Virginia add some labels.
Donna on the other side of the table checking for the seam
on the bag to make sure the label goes on the correct side.
Bronte, Dean and Julie preparing more gumnuts.
Kelly and Louise on the way to the kitchen
with another batch of dry mix.
While Luke gets the next one underway.
Occasionally a biscuit doesn't pass the grade,
Debbie packing up some of the 'rejects' for sale in-house.
Sia and Ross scooping a mixed batch out ready to roll.
Laurie has taken Sia's place working with Ross.
Georgia on a roll in the pantry.
Joined by Stuart and Bron at the other table.
Adrita keeping an eye on the biscuits in the oven.
Looks like these ladies have taken up fencing!
Naomi and Alyson at the lifting table.
It's Angie's first day of baking for this year too and
she's started at the end, finishes off the bags
with a perfectly tied ribbon.
Extra hands! Pam has come in to lend a hand and
is working in the pantry with Stuart.
While another extra helper, Janine has
taken a spot at the packing table.
Afternoon...
Angie building butter sculptures!
Therese, Naomi and Louise keeping pace on the other side.
Stuart is cleaning up some gumnuts ready for threading -
the hole drilling leaves them a little dusty.
Wayne stirring a dry mix with Jo.
Debbie is filling up the containers ready for tomorrow.
Jennifer adds some ingredients to Bryce.
And with Sam gets Bryce ready to mix while Helen looks on.
Endless rows of balls ready for the oven,
Luke and Ross have got this down to a fine art.
Matched in the pantry by Donna and Laurie.
Are these cooked yet? Helen on ovens.
Sia and Julie are on packing this afternoon.
Along with Matthew.
Louise finishing off some bags with a ribbon and gumnut.
Richard is our all round helper anywhere we need him.
Today he's gone from packing to this and that when finally
we've noticed the lunch room needs vacuuming yet!
Thank you Richard for doing so many of these behind the scenes
jobs that keep everything running smoothly.
And the tally? Well we're eagerly awaiting to see what that might be today after a steady day, but we've a few bags of biscuits to pack into baskets yet, stay tuned!
