For quite a few people here today this will be
their first ever Aurora Anzac Bake...
Ilter, Rebecca, Michael and Matthew were too busy
to even notice their photo being taken!
140g butter per portion, not a gram more or less,
makes the perfect biscuit.
Julie and Heather dating some bags.
Action shot! Laurie, Dean and Rony
adding labels to bags and cutting the
next lot of baking paper to line the trays.
David and Wayne threading gumnuts.
Virginia and Pam on the other side doing the same.
This is a non-stop task to keep the packers happy.
Sam measuring out a batch of dry ingredients.
Counting to 10 takes on a whole new meaning around here.
Stuart sifting the flour.
Natasha has taken first turn mixing all the ingredients.
Melting the butter and syrup is part of that task.
Tom, Alyson and Ross rolling in the kitchen.
Georgia, Viva and Veronica making time
for a photo in the pantry.
Debbie has joined Georgia and Veronica.
As has AJ...
Two ovens full says Kelly, we're underway folks.
Blink and it's changed, now Viva and Helen
are taking care of the ovens.
Throughout the Bake each of our ovens will be
full of trays (12 per oven) constantly.
Luke and Bjorn are lifting the biscuits onto racks to cool them.
While Alisha and Gary count and pack.
What's this? Don't say we're missing a baker?!
Packed biscuits ready to be sealed with a ribbon and gumnut.
Tomorrow we'll be starting early, see you then!
